Dodo – The first animal to enter Israel from Gaza
Dodo is a stray cat from the Gaza Strip, who was badly injured by a car. His jaw was split in two and he suffered injuries and fractures to other parts of his body. With the help of the cooperation between the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and the Gaza Ministry of Agriculture, we were able to bring Dodo into emergency care in Israel. Dodo is the first animal in history to enter veterinary care from Gaza to Israel.

Timmy was run over by a vehicle in the Palestinian town. He was thrown in to the trash and thanks to the resourcefulness of a local animal rights activist, contact was made with the PTROA organization in Israel. Timmy was rushed to an Israeli hospital for immediate treatment. The dog who was completely paralyzed and managed to move only his eyes, underwent a long rehabilitation process, and against all odds managed to survive.
